Burgers go with Summer like peanut butter & jelly, green eggs & ham, fish & chips, Scooby-Doo & Shaggy…but I digress…! If you’re a bit bored of beef burgers, then you’ll definitely want to try this recipe. But don’t be put off by the “turkey” part. While many turkey burger recipes can be dry & tasteless, these Crispy Skillet Turkey Burgers are absolutely moist & delish. Enjoy!
Ingredients
- 1 lb 93% lean ground turkey
- 1 c panko bread crumbs
- 2 oz Monterey Jack cheese, shredded (in a pinch I’ve used whatever cheese I have in fridge including Parmesan)
- 1/4 c mayonnaise
- Salt & Pepper
- 1 T olive oil
- 4 40-min (well…almost) Homemade Hamburger Buns
- Pickled Onions & Jalapenos for topping
Heat oil in 12″ skillet over medium heat until shimmering. Add patties & cook until well-browned & meat registers 160 deg, about 5 min per side. Enjoy!
