I love me a good chocolate chip cookie!\u00a0 And back in my younger days, Mrs. Field’s cookies were the gold standard.\u00a0 Years ago, a\u00a0good friend of mine gave me what she claimed was Mrs. Field’s famous chocolate chip cookie recipe.\u00a0 I LOVE this recipe\u2026and I have no reason to believe that it isn’t Mrs. Field’s!\u00a0 So here you go\u2026now YOU have this fabulous recipe too!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Preheat oven to 350 deg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Beat butter & brown & white sugars in stand mixer until creamy & smooth. Add eggs & vanilla & beat until smooth, scraping bowl down as needed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Add baking powder, baking soda & salt & mix until combined. Add oats & mix. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Add 3-5 c flour depending upon how “cake-y” you like your cookies (more cake-y…more flour, less cake-y…less flour). <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Add chocolate chips & mix completely. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Using a tablespoon, scoop out dough & form into balls roughly 1-2″ in diameter. Place on baking sheets a couple of inches apart from each other. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Bake for approx. 10-12 min. Remove from oven & let cookies cool in pan for a couple of minutes. Then remove cookies & place on rack to cool completely. Enjoy!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
