Chaucer pretty much summed it up when he wrote the above lines – all good things eventually come to an end. And so it is with Performance High. After 24 amazing, wonderful & challenging years, I’m closing down this little business of mine. It’s time to move on, time to shift gears, time to focus on different things…it’s time for a change!

Thankfully, I still love what I do. I love all my clients. I love the work. I love this newsletter! But I’ve always felt that it’s better to proactively decide to leave something rather than be forced into the decision because of frustration, irritation and/or necessity.

What comes next? I don’t know exactly! But I do have a list of things that I am so looking forward to spending more time on:

- Travel

- My piano

- Volunteering

- Friends

- Sleeping past 3:45AM & staying up past 7:30PM

- Getting a music degree

- Learning French

- Training myself for a 70.3

- Swimming in a group

- Bigger backpacking trips

- Redoing my backyard

- Reading, reading, reading

- Doing a regular yoga / meditation practice

- More in-depth cooking

As a business owner, one of my KEY priorities has been to develop close relationships with my clients past & present. Relationships are what makes this world a better place. And so, over the next 4 weeks (Apr 30 is my last day), I will highlight small business owners who I know will take great care of all y’all. Be it swimming, coaching, equipment, nutrition, rehab…I have someone for you! Stay tuned for more info!

Finally, I want to say thank YOU! Thank you for your support over these 24 years. Everything I’ve accomplished can be directly attributed to you! Y’all mean the world to me!

Peace,
