Bike Tune Up Tips from Dirt Dart Mobile Service<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Before your first ride, make sure your bike is ready to go! Some great bike tune up tips courtesy of Steve Parrish!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A couple of things to check on your bike before your first ride:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

• Tire Pressure-it is stamped on the sidewall of each tire.<\/li>
• Tire Inspection-check for cracks or cuts in the tires.<\/li>
• Chain Lube-when you rub the chain with your fingers there should be just a little lube on your fingers.<\/li>
• Rim brakes-look for cracks or aluminum deposits on the brake pads. If you find these, you need new brake pads<\/li>
• Disc brakes-if you squeeze your brake levers and you don’t have brakes, you will possibly need a brake bleed or brake pads and rotor.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n
