April showers bring May flowers…and also asparagus! Those lovely bright green shoots pop up everywhere this time of year. And oh, are they delicious??!! Grab yourself a bunch & get ’em on the table fast with this super easy, super tasty recipe!
Ingredients
- 1 bunch asparagus
- Olive oil (butter would be tasty too!)
- Salt & Pepper
Snap off woody bottom part of asparagus spears & discard. Heat up a skillet on medium heat & add olive oil (or butter).
Add asparagus & sauté occasionally tossing with spatula. Cook until asparagus is tender & slightly charred.
Remove from heat & add salt & pepper. If desired, you can also add a squirt or two of lemon juice. Enjoy!
