I know we just had Thanksgiving & maybe you’re tired of turkey soup, turkey sandwiches & turkey hash. But, if you haven’t yet hit turkey overload, then this All-Purpose Ground Turkey Mix is right up your alley!
Turkey’s mild flavor & quick cooking time makes it a perfect base for all sorts of fast weeknight meals – think meatloaf, patty melts, burritos, meat balls, burgers. The only downside? It can sometimes be a bit…well…dry. To solve this, all you need is salt, a panade & a food processor. Give this Ground Turkey Mix a try for endless delish dinner options!
Ingredients
- 1/3 c shallot or onion, coarsely chopped
- 1/4 c panko break crumbs
- 1/2 t kosher salt
- 1/4 t pepper
- 1 lb 93% lean ground turkey
- 1/4 c milk
- 2 T butter, melted & cooled
- 1 t Worcestershire sauce
Process shallot or onion, panko, salt & pepper in food processor, scraping down sides, until shallot or onion is finely ground, about 20 sec.
Add turkey, milk, melted butter & Worcestershire sauce. Pulse until just combined, 8-12 pulses.
Use in whatever way you like!
