I love smoothes!! I drink one almost every day. I find that they are a GREAT way to get high-quality nutrients into my daily diet. While many smoothies can be quite high in sugar & carbs, I’ve been experimenting with predominantly veggie-based mixes. Recently I was asked by a client just exactly what was in my smoothie. Well…here ya go!
Ingredients

Yogurt, plain & full fat
- Cucumber
- Parsley
- Broccoli or Cauliflower (frozen works great – it blends up easily & taste is less strong)
- Greens, all kinds (I use Power Green mix)
- Nuts, any kind (I use almonds)
- Seeds, any kind (I use chia and/or flax)
- Berries, fresh or frozen any kind (I use blueberries or raspberries)
Put all in blender or Nutribullet with a bit of water. Blend well & enjoy! I’ve also added all sorts of other ingredients – avocadoes, fresh ginger, celery. It kind of depends on what’s in my refrigerator! If you find a particularly delish blend, please post it for all to enjoy!
